Greetings,

Pupil Assignment is in the process of adjusting school boundary lines.  We are working to align our school boundary lines to the property appraiser’s parcel boundary lines, thus insuring that we do not divide property between two schools.   It appears that the majority of schools in Orange County will be affected by this process.  Although the majority of boundary line adjustments will not affect any families, changing a school boundary line is considered a rezoning.  When no students are involved it is called a Technical Rezoning and when a limited number of students will be impacted it is called a Targeted Rezoning.  For all rezonings, we use the School Board Rezoning Policy.  This policy may be found on the OCPS website:
